Marshall County Health Department, Guntersville, Alabama

The design team's goal was to design a quality, user-friendly, low-maintenance facility. The structure is one-story with metal studs, wood trusses, a brick veneer, and low maintenance finishes. Spaces include a clinic facility, offices for administration, Home Health, Life Care, and county environmental services. A multi-purpose room is also included for use by both the health department and the community.

Winston County Health Department, Double Springs, Alabama

Winston County Health Department, located in Double Springs, Alabama is one of several projects with the Alabama Department of Public Health. The new building’s design required a close partnership with the owner to create efficient and user-friendly spaces for both employees and visitors—characteristics essential to projects in a health care facility. Durable materials, ease of maintenance and efficiency were primary concerns for the project, as will be with all proposed projects.
